Mindy started her blog in 2011 to document her wedding and the planning process. Frustrated with the lack of information about weddings at Disneyland on the Internet, she started sharing what she learned hoping to help others. Several years later she is known as a Disneyland expert in the Disney weddings community, and also runs the biggest community dedicated to Disneyland weddings online. The best part about blogging and social media is connecting with like-minded people all over the world, people you might not otherwise ever meet. It has been an honor to help so many people plan their weddings.
With over five years of blogging and community-building experience, Mindy launched Joy Social in 2015 to help wedding professionals market to brides and grooms via the ever-changing and fast paced platforms of social media. Mindy offers one-on-one consulting sessions in-person or via Skype, as well as hosting the occasional meet-up and free webinars. Before starting Joy Social, Mindy worked as a Virtual Assistant and Social Media Consultant specializing in the wedding industry.
